The Dedham Food Pantry remains open to provide food to those Dedham residents in need during its usual hours of operation- Saturdays from 8-10:30 am and Senior Shopping (2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 1:30 - 3pm). You can also avail of our services if you have been laid off or your hours reduced from your place of employment due to the Covid 19 outbreak.

We understand that while some people who are laid off have sufficient financial resources for the period that they are out of work, others do not. No one should be concerned about their ability to feed themselves or their family during this crisis.  Any Dedham resident that is concerned about their finances should feel free to come to the Pantry.

What better way to get ready for a summer ride than to register now of this year’s Ride for Food. And each person registering now automatically gets entered into our Early Bird Raffle to be drawn May 31.

Prizes include:

• $100 gift certificate to Cambridge Brewing Company
• A tour of a live show at WERS-FM (Boston), and three tours and
• Tastings for 10 people at either Jack’s Brewing Company, GrandTen Distilling, and Downeast Cider House.

We are just gearing up for this year’s Ride for Food, and Whole Foods has been gracious enough to host us this April 23rd for a 5% day at their store in Dedham. The Whole Foods Dedham store has supported us from the beginning. Please support them and help us hold another great Ride in the process.

The Dedham Food Pantry is the fortunate recipient of $1,400, proceeds of the Dedham Pub Crawl held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Dedham Square.

(Repost from 1/19/2014 Dedham Patch) The Dedham Junior Women’s Club Tree Jubilee, which will be held in conjunction with the Dedham Stroll and Tree Lighting on Friday, Dec. 5 from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the former space for Wardle’s Pharmacy. Ten decorated Christmas trees and the Jubilee tree, filled with gift certificates, will be raffled off to visitors. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5 for the Christmas trees. The Jubilee Tree raffle tickets are $5. Proceeds from the Dedham Tree Jubilee benefit the Dedham Food Pantry. Nearly $4,000 has been raised in the past two years.

Free Admission to a Holiday Classic film with a donation of a non-perishable food item to benefit the Dedham Food Pantry. Saturdays at 10:00 am November 29th - December 20th.

When you are shopping at Whole Foods Market Dedham this November, consider making a donation at the registers to their Feed 4 More program. 100% of the proceeds raised during the entire month of November will go directly to the Dedham Food Pantry to help provide food for those in our community who are in need.

Join us for this fun family friendly race to support the Dedham Food Pantry and local Ripples of Hope community service initiatives. Help us make this race the biggest one yet!
