Maeve Quigley’s Food Drive & Fundraiser

Many thanks to Maeve Quigley for organizing a food drive & fundraiser which raised $1,000 to benefit the Dedham Food Pantry. The effort collected food donations & contributions from as far as Maine, Ohio and Virginia. Maeve and her mother Kathryn Aldrich Quigley delivered 150 flyers to their neighborhood and brought 25 to her school, posted online and yard signs.

A big shoutout goes to the Quigleys, your friends, family, neighbors and Mariposa Childcare. Your contributions will go a long way to helping the less fortunate. Thank you!

#GivingTuesday is here!

The Dedham Food Pantry takes part in the #GivingTuesday annual event on Dec. 1, 2020! The global pandemic has had a negative effect in our budget, as we continue to experience a surge in local families needing our services. Your donation covers food purchases which guarantees that each family will have food on their table.

Here are some ways you can get involved with our mission on #GivingTuesday to help us:

COVID-19 Update

The Dedham Food Pantry remains open to provide food to those Dedham residents in need during its usual hours of operation- Saturdays from 8-10:30 am and Senior Shopping (2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 1:30 - 3pm). You can also avail of our services if you have been laid off or your hours reduced from your place of employment due to the Covid 19 outbreak.

We understand that while some people who are laid off have sufficient financial resources for the period that they are out of work, others do not. No one should be concerned about their ability to feed themselves or their family during this crisis.  Any Dedham resident that is concerned about their finances should feel free to come to the Pantry.
